Duhan and I first met in the quicksand of the hyper-casual world.
We had a history of saving each other’s lives at regular intervals — creatively speaking — when one day, at a time when neither of us was doing particularly well, we made a decision:
-To build our own game, together.
The idea of Emoji Oracle was born in 2024. It all started with Duhan and me, setting off on a journey where we learned so much along the way. Perhaps the most surprising lesson was discovering how intimidating our idea seemed to many graphic artists.
We worked with three different artists — and all three left us. That couldn’t have been a coincidence. :] And as the road unfolded, we realized it truly wasn’t.
After the third artist left us, we decided to continue with a new partner: AI. Creating visuals with AI wasn’t easy — but thanks to our existing skill sets, working with it felt less like a task and more like a joy.We thought, If we’re building this with AI, let’s go big — let’s create a game that would normally be impossible to make with traditional artists because of the sheer volume of visuals.
With AI by our side, we crafted a mobile game with an unprecedented number of artworks. As the images came in, they didn’t just fill the game — they inspired us, too.
Admittedly, our ever-changing ideas nearly drove Duhan to the brink. But his inner “Chinese factory worker” (his words, not mine) prevailed — relentless, focused, and immune to chaos — and we managed to push forward on our creative journey.
As we struggled down this path, a voice whispered to us from the shadows.
We met Can. He said, “I do sound.”
We replied, “Great — we need music too.”
Thanks to him, Emoji Oracle leveled up once again.
The Story Of the Emoji Oracle
Can wasn’t just our sound guy — he became a creative force in the process. His sharp ideas and talent for documentation helped push the project to a whole new level.
By the time we reached the end of development, we realized something important: this was only the beginning.
To those patient, beautiful souls who helped us during test plays — thank you again. If you’ve completed the tutorial two or three times, we hereby declare you an honorary member of Glyphex.
We know the real journey starts now.
Maybe — just maybe — a marketing angel will descend from the clouds and bless us with a budget. Maybe someday, we’ll have a full-time artist who can tweak our backgrounds and make the home screen customizable.
And who knows — perhaps someone bigger than us will fall in love with Emoji Oracle, buy the game, and let us move on to build the next one.
To Whatever Awaits Us in the Future...
We send our regards.
We believe we’ve done our part — and we remain hopeful.
Let these words serve as our charm, our wish:
May Emoji Oracle be just the beginning of many more games yet to be imagined.
May the force be with us all.
